Account Deletion

If you are using OX-san with your Google account, you can delete your account from the app's Settings screen. If you have not used OX-san yet, no deletion action is needed. If you cannot sign in to the app, please send a deletion request from the email address registered to your account.

How to delete from the app

  1. 1. If you are using OX-san with your Google account, open the Settings screen.
  2. 2. Select "Delete account".
  3. 3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog.

Confirmation

  • When deleting from the app, please use the "Delete account" option in the Settings screen. Deletion is only available for a signed-in account.
  • When requesting deletion by email, use the "Send deletion request email" button below and send it to bodkaapp+oxsan-account-deletion@gmail.com.
    • Please use the Google account email address you used with OX-san as the sender address.
    • This is a fallback flow for users who cannot sign in to the app, so no in-app Google sign-in is required.

Data that will be deleted

  • Firebase Authentication account data
  • Published recipes
  • Recipe-related images
  • Notification tokens
  • Async jobs
  • Log data

Data that remains on your device

  • Chat history and recipe data saved locally on your device are not deleted automatically.
  • If needed, delete them separately from the app settings or your device storage management.

If you can no longer sign in

If you cannot sign in to the app, send a deletion request from the email address registered to your account.
You can use the provided subject and body as-is when sending the email.

Notes

  • After deletion, your account-linked server data will no longer be accessible.
  • If needed, you can sign in again later with a different Google account and use the service as a new account.
